Attributes
Attributes are pre-defined values for users to choose from. Attributes help to minimize
capturing errors like spelling mistakes, giving wrong information on a category etc.
Categories
Pre-defined criteria to which attributes are assigned to ease the capturing of assets.
A category could be "Colour" and the attributes could be "RED", "GREEN", and "BLUE".
Profiles
Pre-defined combinations of Categories and Attributes which represent an Asset.
A profile is used to standardize the asset data based on predefined values in categories
and assets. Also a profile can have settings like depreciation rates (which will be applied
to all assets using that profile).
©SAiNT-AM was designed to simplify the process of Capturing Assets, and Managing the Asset’s lifespan. During the set-up process of ©SAiNT-AM, limitations are defined by which Assets will be captured. For example, an Administrator can set up all the locations of the Organisation and an asset cannot be assigned to any other location, unless the Administrator adds that location to the system. This gives control to the system, eliminates users making errors and simplifies the use of ©SAiNT-AM.
Using the Active Directory o f your Company’s domain controllers, you can access ©SAINT-AM with your current Windows Account. As ©SAiNT-AM uses SQL Reporting services it is easy for the IT department to create custom reports. Telephonic support is available to assist in creating and up loading reports according to Client’s requirements.
